IMAT 2026 – International Medical Admissions Test

Recrytera has partnered with CINECA to support the 2026 International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT), providing professional services to manage and supervise 32 test centers in 25 countries.

Recrytera has proven experience in administering international exams and ensures smooth and secure operations for candidates worldwide.

The International Medical Admissions Test (IMAT) is the admission test for English-taught Medicine and Surgery, Dentistry and Dental Prosthodontics, and Veterinary Medicine degree programmes at participating Italian universities.

Admission is determined according to the IMAT score, the applicable ranking procedure and the number of available places.

On 29 September 2026, 10,163 registered candidates are expected to take the test simultaneously across 32 locations, 30 cities, 25 countries and five continents.

Ensuring uniform conditions, IT security and operational fluidity across such a diverse international context requires careful planning, coordination and expertise.

To ensure the exam ran smoothly, over 400 people were involved, including technical staff, venue coordinators, and support teams.

In the lead-up to the exam, our support centre resolved over 800 support tickets, maintaining constant communication with candidates, and resolving any issues promptly.

The 2026 edition of IMAT brings together advanced technology, logistical planning and human expertise to support an examination involving 10,163 registered candidates worldwide.

An integrated approach focused on security, reliability and the candidates’ experience is applied at every stage, from preparing materials to real-time monitoring.
